K through 7th Grade Religious Education
At Temple Beth Torah, we value learning in community and individually. The learning we do together is rooted in our love of Judaism and our Jewish values:
-
A love of Jewish tradition (including holidays, prayers, rituals, and Torah)
-
A foundation of the Hebrew language
-
A joyful relationship with the rhythm of Jewish life
-
A curiosity about diversity within the Jewish world
-
A sense of belonging and engagement with the synagogue community
-
A strong sense of Jewish values and how they are put into action to help others and make the world a better place (Tikkun Olam)
For students in grades K-7, we partner with Congregation Beth Emek, a Reform congregation in nearby Pleasanton.
