Join Sherri Plaza, longtime Temple Beth Torah member and yoga/fitness instructor, for FREE virtual summer classes from the comfort of your own home with Keep Moving with Sherri!
All are welcome and options are offered to accommodate abilities and injuries. Sign up and attend as many sessions as you want.
10:00am to 11:00am on Mondays, 6/20, 6/27, 7/11, and 7/18
Feeling stiff or achy from sitting too much? Worried about your balance? Or are you curious about yoga and intimidated to try a class? Yoga for Active Aging is a wonderful way to slow down, breathe deliberately, stretch, and move. This gentle class includes basic yoga poses to build strength, work on balance, and improve range of motion.
KEEP IT MOVING
11:00am to 12:00pm on Fridays, 6/17, 6/24, 7/8, and 7/15
Keep it Moving is a slower-paced and gentle class. Movements are led with a respect for everyone’s abilities. Every class includes range of motion moves, balance work, strengthening exercises, seated or standing cardio -- and lots of fun. A little bit of everything in an hour to allow you to Keep Moving through your daily activities.
