A Word from Rabbi Schulman - 1/29/21

One of the few silver linings to emerge during this pandemic is the ease by which we can participate in an event from the comfort of our homes. There is no need to dress-up or to commute to take part in a program.

A week from tomorrow, the Tri-City Interfaith Council will sponsor its annual Harmony Day on Zoom. This event will take place on Saturday, February 6 from 1-2:30pm.

Harmony Day enables people from all walks of life and different faith traditions to come together to learn from one another in a supportive, uplifting environment. The theme this year is Finding Resilience During Troubling Times.

There will be music, small group gatherings, and a panel will present perspectives about how faith traditions offer support and perspective. I will be speaking on this topic as the Jewish representative.

You must pre-register to attend Interfaith Harmony Day at https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZYocO6gqT4sGdFrsiCtBHjByRPqLKwtFHv5

In 8 days, I hope you will set aside 90 minutes to participate in this worthwhile program. Interfaith Harmony Day is a wonderful way to expand awareness and celebrate the rich diversity of our region.
