Shalom Aleynu: TBT Seniors

Shalom Aleynu is the senior group at TBT, but it also encompasses more than just our synagogue. We have members in the group that belong to other temples, and some that don't belong to any temple. Anyone 55 and better can join our group. We are one of the most active groups at TBT. We meet monthly to go on outings, watch movies, host at least one Shabbat service per year, do community work, and we always have lots of fun.

From barbecues and picnics to pot-lucks and luncheons in local fine dining, the Shalom Aleynu membership eats well! We occasionally watch feature films incl. comedies, adventures, documentaries, and Jewish culture films. Everyone is welcome. Enjoy the show, FREE OF CHARGE!

We welcome you to join us for conversation, laughter, coffee/tea‚ or friendship. You won't be sorry! We usually meet in the Temple Beth Torah Social Hall one Thursday per month at 10:00 am (when we are not "traveling").

All temple members, brotherhood, sisterhood, seniors, friends and family are welcome! For more information please contact Florence Silver at or (510) 651-1411

Our next monthly meetup is TBD. Please call Florence at 510-651-1411 for details or if you need a ride. Both men and women are welcome to join us!
