  • We all know elections are important, and here is our chance to increase voter turnout! Join TBT Social Action Committee members and the broader TBT community in promoting the Every Voice, Every Vote Campaign in conjunction with the Religious Action Center (RAC) of the Union for Reform Judaism (URJ). Each participant will receive a kit with postcards, addresses, and detailed instructions for the postcards. Together on Zoom, we will learn how to complete the postcards according to the RAC guidelines. This will be a fun and effective way to help get out the vote for the midterm elections. You can make an important difference! Plan to join this important collaborative effort via Zoom on Thu, 8/25 at 7:00pm to get the Vote Out! To participate, please email

  • Tisha b'Av Text Study: Tisha B'av is a Jewish day of mourning for destruction. Some Jews choose to fast on this day, and some choose to dedicate some time during the day to study the text of Lamentations. Join Rabbi Zoe for an in-person study session this Sunday, 8/7 at 11:00am. Advance registration is encouraged

  • TBT will once again be co-sponsoring the fruit gazpacho booth at the Fremont Festival of the Arts on Saturday, 8/6 and Sunday, 8/7. • Join Rabbi Zoe for a Lunchtime Walk n' Schmooze on Wednesday, 8/10 at 11:30am. We’ll meet at the temple and take an easy-paced walk around the neighborhood. If you’d like, bring a picnic lunch, to eat and schmooze some more afterwards!

  • Paper copies of the J's 2022-2023 Jewish Resource Guide are available to pick up in the temple office. • Thank you to Sherri Plaza for building our community of wellness with her fitness classes. We really appreciated her skill in working with those of us who have injuries/health issues/are out-of-shape and didn't think we could do yoga or fitness classes. If you weren't able to join her TBT classes, you can check out her offerings here.

  • The High Holy Days begin in September. We expect to have our annual High Holy Days Information page up soon. Please check back for updates.

  • If you know of any congregants, or any family members or friends who would like to receive email communication from TBT, please forward them this link to sign up. It's quick and easy - they just add their email address and name one time, and voila - they're automatically subscribed!
