Shalom Aleynu

Shalom Aleynu is the senior group at TBT, but it also encompasses more than just our synagogue. We have members in the group that belong to other temples, and some that don't belong to any temple. Anyone 55 and over can join the group. We are one of the most active groups at TBT. We meet weekly, go on lots of outings, host at least one Shabbat service per year, do lots of community work and always has lots of fun.

From Barbecue Picnics to pot-lucks to luncheons in fine area restaurants, the Shalom Aleynu membership eats well!.

Our schedule for the month of June 2010 is as follows:

June 7, 10 a.m. β€” Trip to Pleasanton

June 14, 10 a.m. - Social: Practice the Gift of Gab

June 21, 10 a.m. β€” Guest Speaker: Rabbi Schulman

June 28, 10 a.m. β€” Field Trip to Treasure Island

Future plans include monthly potluck lunches; trips to Filoli Gardens, picnics in the park and movie theaters. We will be having many guest speakers/lecturers and invited entertainers.

Do join us for conversation, laughter, coffee/teaβ€š you won't be sorry! We meet in the Temple Beth Torah Social Hall every Monday morning at 10 am (when we are not "traveling.")
